Delivering government services to rural communities
The Government Access Program (GAP) is a state government initiative to give people living in country towns similar access to services and information as city residents. The program delivers services and information on behalf of a range of state government agencies using Government Access Centres.
What are Government Access Centres
Government Access Centres (GACs) are existing government service outlets which have been assigned as one-stop shops for a range of government services. They provide convenient face-to-face, customer focused information and services for rural and remote communities.
